#5. Carole (BB8)

The Housemate
Big Brother 8’s Carole Vincent was an unemployed former youth worker from East London. Keeping to a tight schedule and spending every waking moment cooking and cleaning, you had to wonder whether Carole knew about Big Brother or whether she thought she was employed as a live-in housekeeper to a commune of clinically fed up trustafarians.
The Killer
Carol Bundy was an American serial killer who, along with partner Doug Clark, murdered a number of young prostitutes and runaways in Los Angeles during the spring and summer of 1980. They were dubbed “The Sunset Strip Killers”.
Similarities
Carole Vincent became something of a mother figure to the housemates. Carol Bundy killed and beheaded her husband then went on to kill a number of young girls. Any similarities here are going to be superficial.

The Killer
John Wayne Gacy was an American serial killer who was convicted and executed for the rape and murder of 33 boys and young men in the 1970s. The media coined him the “Killer Clown” because of the block parties he threw for his neighbours, in which he’d entertain local children as “Pogo The Clown”.
Similarities
Victor dressed up as a clown to terrorise fellow Big Brother housemate, Emma. Gacy dressed up as a clown to terrorise and murder children.
#3. Siavash (BB10)

The Housemate
Big Brother 10’s Siavash Sabbaghpour is an events organiser from London. A self-confessed “slave to fashion”, Siavash is known for his wild and eccentric taste in clothes.
The Killer
Shoko Asahara is a Japanese cult leader who formed controversial Buddhist religious group Aum Shinrikyo. Asahara was convicted of masterminding the 1995 Sarin gas attack on the Tokyo subway, as well as several other crimes, and is currently awaiting execution.
Similarities
Siavash instructed Marcus to cover the mirrors in the house with window cleaning fluid. Asahara instructed his followers to release nerve gas on the Tokyo subway.
